Kevin Queenan

After completing Bachelor degrees in Agriculture and in Veterinary Science in South Africa, Kevin Queenan worked in clinical veterinary practice for 20 years before completing an MSc One Health in 2014 at the Royal Veterinary College (RVC) and London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine (LSHTM). Since then, he has worked as a research assistant at the RVC (with a secondment to LSHTM) on a variety of One Health-focused projects in East and Southern Africa, including work on systems thinking, livestock value chains, disease control at the wildlife-livestock interface and on antimicrobial resistance, usage and surveillance. He is currently working on the livestock (animal source food) component of the SHEFS programme in South Africa.
