University College London
Henry Ferguson-Gow is a macroecologist who is interested how environmental change affects patterns of biodiversity. He works with a range of ecological modelling techniques that characterise the relationship between climate, land use and species occurrence. These models can be used to understand how climate change and new patterns of land use driven by dietary change might affect the composition of terrestrial biotic communities, and how these changes could impact ecosystem function and resilience.
