Carmelia Alae-Carew works as a Research Assistant in nutrition and sustainable diets at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine (LSHTM), exploring the effect of dietary patterns on health and the environment, and the impact of environmental changes on food production. She has a background in medicine, and previously worked as a General Practitioner in Glasgow. She obtained a Master’s in Nutrition for Global Health from LSHTM in 2016.
