London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine
Cami Moss is a Research Fellow and staff PhD candidate at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine (LSHTM) who is researching the links between UK diets, food and agriculture, and biodiversity impacts within the Sustainable and Healthy Food Systems (SHEFS) project. She has also supported the multi-sectoral Sustainable Undernutrition Reduction in Ethiopia programme evaluation led by the Ethiopian Public Health Institute. Prior to joining LSHTM, Moss worked as a nutrition manager for the World Food Programme in Lao PDR, and has managed vitamin A and maternal micronutrient supplementation programmes in Asia and Africa. Her current research contributes to transdisciplinary planetary health research, bringing together datasets from public health and ecology to explore how diets, driving globally sourced food production, contribute to biodiversity loss. Her aim is to generate evidence to identify potential intersections between human nutrition and ecological well-being, and to support policymaking seeking to maximise health and environmental co-benefits.
