Get Involved
Engaging the public
SHEFS undertakes a range of public engagement activities across the three countries working with different age groups from school aged children to adults.
Communicating our findings
Learning from peoples’ experiences
An important component of the wider SHEFS project is public engagement. Ā This serves as a platform for information and findings generated by the research produced from SHEFS studies to be communicated to the wider public and inform people about the health and environmental impacts of the food they eat. It also gives researchers an opportunity to learn from the experiences of citizens and identify their priorities in achieving a healthy and sustainable food system. Citizen engagement is also important for driving change and inspiring policy makers to take action.
